What Works?

1. Mobile Application

The backbone of GrabFood and their other services is their all-in-one application called Grab. This mobile app is available in every platform whether that be android or apple, with a multitude of different services focusing on taxis, courier delivery, grocery delivery, and of course the on-demand service to deliver restaurant food to the customer (Moteria, 2024). However, GrabFood is not the only food delivery service in the market in South East Asia, with other competitors such as foodpanda, ShopeeFood, and airasia food being available for the Malaysian market. Fortunately, GrabFood's is considered to be at least top 2 in terms of their overall service quality, the fluid and intuitive user interface, with reasonable delivery fee and time (Tan, 2021). Bundled with the fact that their app is not just a food delivery service unlike foodpanda, GrabFood offers a lot of convenience for their customers who might use their other services, but also crave a restaurant meal. Their application allows for anyone to order a restaurant-made meal within the comfort of their home or office, allowing no obstacles such as time or transport constraints to stop them from getting their meal (Marcos, 2023). With the addition of many restaurant partnering up with GrabFood, the variety of restaurants just keeps widening by the day.

2.Extensive Restaurant Partnerships

GrabFood's wide network of restaurant partnerships is one of the primary differentiators. GrabFood works with a broad range of restaurants, from upscale dining facilities to neighborhood street food vendors. This wide range guarantees that customers can choose from a variety of cuisines to fit any taste or dietary requirement. Furthermore, the platform consistently broadens its offers by adding new restaurant partners on a regular basis. This helps small companies reach a larger audience in addition to giving clients additional options. Because GrabFood is dedicated to collaborating closely with its partners, meals are cooked and delivered with the highest level of attention and quality. User reviews and ratings are another component of the site that support upholding high standards and enhancing service. By assisting both large national chains and independent restaurants, GrabFood builds a vibrant food ecosystem that is advantageous to customers and companies. With ease and variety at the press of a button, GrabFood's wide network of partnerships plays a significant role in its strong market presence and devoted client base. (Jugnoo, 2021)
